The abused, teenage, PREGNANT GIRL IS ONE OF THE MOST VOICELESS, IGNORED POPULATIONS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA. AS SEXUAL ABUSE RUNS RAMPANT THROUGH THE COUNTRY, A GIRL’S CRY FOR HELP IS ONE OF THOUSANDS.
THE TKP HOUSE
The Kukhoma Project exists for God’s glory to rescue teen mothers who have been victims of abuse, to restore, equip and empower these girls and their communities.
Guests entered into every room of the house and blessed the rooms, the cribs, the floors, and all else with prayers for protection and provision, healing and restoration, with much thanks and praise. Members of the community, TKP Board members, friends, family, volunteers and representatives of other partner ministries were present.
In Zambia, 1 out of every 3 girls will become pregnant as a teenager, and 50% of all women associate their first experience of sexual activity with abuse. Together, we can help break the staggering statistics for young girls in Zambia.
We are a full-time care facility that is centered around medical care, counseling curriculum, discipleship, literacy, music/art, and community building. Our programs aim to restore, equip, and empower our teen mothers and their families.
